Different roles in EqDeal

  • Stakeholder — a person or organization represented in the company’s ownership structure.
  • Investor — a person or organization associated with an investment contract or portfolio.
  • Representative — a user authorized to access or administer a company workspace.
  • Option participant — a beneficiary included in a stock option offer.

The same person may appear in more than one role, but platform access and legal ownership are recorded separately.

Avoid duplicate identities

Search by name, email, company, or domain before creating a new record. Duplicate stakeholder records can make contracts, documents, and portfolio reconciliation harder to understand.
